Donovan Heavener is a retired police officer with over 29 years of law enforcement experience, including experience as a background investigator, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force member and sex crime investigator. He has dedicated his career to finding the truth.
Donovan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He also holds a Certificate in Emergency Management, Planning and Administration from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay.
Donovan is a proud graduate of the Marston Polygraph Academy.
Donovan is also a co-host on the Police Applicant Podcast, along with Ken Roybal from Policebackground.net. Ken and Donovan discuss the hiring process for law enforcement positions and talk with applicants who successfully navigated the process.
